What is genocide?
Genocide is the action of killing a larger number of people or nation.
Who Were Affected? The people who live while a genocide was happening in their community were very affected. There were millions thrown out of their homes, tons of people were killed, and all of them scarred for life. In some cases as in "The Rape of Nanking (Nanjing)" the people were raped, robbed, and or burn to death. As the people being "hunted" and killed you lived in a world of total fear. losing all hope and all your love ones. As the people were living in fear, the people from surrounding countries that were aware of everything going on decided to do nothing as if doing nothing was the same as helping the ones who were getting slaughtered.

Usually genocide occurs when one group of people believe that another group of people is damaging their existence. There's the need for power and wealth that leads a group to destroy another. there's the usual competitive side to destroy one group to look as the strongest group. And finally the though to create the pure type of race. The common people who try to take advantage of the situation are the politics. there reasons were because like i said wealth, power, popularity etc.
